Age of consent to sexual intercourse

The legal age of consent for sexual activity is sixteen (16) years. As such, Article 206 of the Penal Code stipulates that any person who has been without intimidation or violence, access carnal with a minor over fourteen (14) years and under sixteen (16), will be punished with a maximum prison term of six years.
